Status

A status in PointView is a variable that indicates the availability of an area or data in a table. Statuses allow users to easily understand the current state of the offer, enhancing the clarity and intuitiveness of the visualization. Each status is assigned a color, which is visible both in the table and on the visualization when hovering over interactive areas.

Available Statuses in PointView

PointView offers four statuses, each differing in color and the behavior of links:

• Available (Green)
  The “Available” status means that the area or table entry is still available. The status color is green, symbolizing readiness for purchase. With this status, links are active – users can navigate to linked sections, files, or URLs.
• Reserved (Yellow)
  The “Reserved” status indicates that the area or entry is temporarily reserved but not yet sold. The status color is yellow. Similar to the “Available” status, links remain active, allowing users to view additional information.
• Sold (Red)
  The “Sold” status informs that the area or table entry has been purchased. The status color is red. With this status, links are disabled – users cannot click on the area or access additional information.
• Soon (Gray)
  The “Coming Soon” status signifies that the area or entry is not yet available but will be in the future. The status color is gray. Similar to the “Sold” status, links are disabled, meaning users cannot yet access additional information.

How Does Status Affect Visualization?

• Status Colors
  Status colors are visible on the visualization, making it easy to quickly distinguish the availability of specific areas and entries. The status color appears when hovering over an area and as the font color in the “Availability” column of the table.
• Link Behavior
  Depending on the status, links may be active or disabled:
  • With the “Available” and “Reserved” statuses, users can use links to navigate to linked sections or open additional files.
  • With the “Sold” and “Soon” statuses, links are disabled, meaning the area does not lead to any additional resources.

Status is a simple yet highly effective tool for managing availability and presenting data in an intuitive and user-friendly way. Through its color-coded system and link functionality, statuses in PointView are an essential element of any visualization, helping to highlight and clarify the investment offer.
