How to Add Links Between Sections?

Adding links between sections in PointView allows you to create more advanced and interactive visualizations by nesting sections and effectively connecting different elements of your project. You can add links in two ways:

Adding a Link by Clicking on an Area

1. Select an Area
   To add a link to a specific area, start by selecting the area. You can do this in two ways:
   • Click directly on the area on the image,
   • Select the area from the left panel in the project management view.
2. Add a Link
   Once the area is selected, the right panel of the view will display detailed information about the area.
   • Expand the dropdown menu labeled “Link”.
   • Choose the “Assign to Section” option. This selection will be saved automatically.
   • A new dropdown menu will appear, allowing you to select the section to link. Choose the appropriate section from the list, and the link will be saved automatically.

Adding a Link Through the Table

1. Select a Table Record
   Choose the record in the table to which you want to add a link. Similar to selecting an area, detailed information about the selected record will appear in the right panel.
2. Add a Link
   • Expand the dropdown menu labeled “Link”.
   • Choose the “Assign to Section” option. This selection will be saved automatically.
   • A new dropdown menu will appear, allowing you to select the section to link. Choose the desired section, and the link will be saved automatically.
