Section

A section is a key building block of every project in PointView. A project consists of multiple sections, each responsible for presenting individual parts of the investment visualization. In each section, you can include one image where you can define interactive areas and add a data table, which can be linked to other sections or areas.

What can you do in a section?

• Add an investment visualization image: Each section contains a single image on which you can designate interactive areas. These areas can be linked to other sections, files, or external URLs.
• Add a data table: You can include an interactive table containing detailed information about the investment. The table can be linked to sections and areas or function as an independent element not connected to any other project component.

Sections enable the organization of investment visualizations in a clear and structured way, ensuring easy navigation and an engaging presentation for users.

Main Section

The main section is a special section that will be displayed first, both in the visualization preview and on the website. Each project can have only one main section, which by default is the first section added.

The main section is marked with a star in the left panel of the project management view – the star is located to the right of the section name. To set a different section as the main one:

1. Select the section you want to set as the main section.
2. In the right panel of the project editing view, you will find a toggle labeled “Set section as main.”
3. Toggle the switch, and the section will be marked as the main section, automatically changing its display order in the project.
