Table

A table is a key element of interactive visualization in PointView, functioning as part of a section but also capable of existing independently. Unlike other elements, such as images or interactive areas, a table can operate as a standalone unit – a project can consist solely of a table without the need to add images or areas.

What is a table, and how does it work?

  • Independent structure
    A table can exist in a project without requiring images or interactive areas. It can serve as a standalone informational unit, allowing your visualization to consist solely of a table if that suits your needs.
  • Column definition
    A table consists of columns, which you define in the project management view. Each column can contain different types of data (e.g., text, numbers, statuses), offering flexible customization to fit your investment’s specifics.
  • “Availability” column
    By default, every table includes a mandatory column called “Availability,” which cannot be removed. This column is essential for managing information about the availability of units. Its content can be filtered and sorted, making it easier for users to navigate the project.
  • Data entry
    Data for the table is entered in the section editing panel during the visualization creation process. This gives you full control over the table’s content, allowing you to tailor it to the current needs of your investment.

Customization and Table Features

  • Filtering and sorting
    The table enables filtering and sorting of data, allowing users to quickly find the information they need. This is especially useful in large projects with extensive datasets.
  • Appearance customization
    You can fully customize the table’s appearance in the project management view, adjusting its style to fit the character of your website and visualization.
